What vaccinations do you require?
All dogs should be vaccinated several days prior to boarding. Records showing current vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian must be on file or presented by check in. Dogs without current vaccination documents will not be permitted to stay. We require:
- DHLPP (Distemper)
- Bordetella
- Rabies
While it is not required, we highly recommend that you vaccinate your dog for Canine Flu as well.
What is your cancellation policy?
A cancellation fee of one night's lodging may be applied for reservations not cancelled 24 hours in advance.
Do you require a deposit?
A deposit may be required for holiday stays.
What are your check-in procedures?
A boarding contract must be signed at check-in. All pets will be charged a full day lodging fee for the first day regardless of check-in time.
What are your check-out procedures?
Payment is due in full at check-out. For pets staying multiple days, there will not be a charge for the check-out day if your dog is picked up by 11:30am. A fee of $35.00 will be applied for returned checks.
Do you offer any discounts?
- Multi-pet discount - (must be boarded in the same suite)
- Military/Law Enforcement/EMS discounts - $5 off per day
- Please inquire about longterm rate discounts (over 30 days)
Do you have any restrictions?
We will not accept pets that are aggressive or heavily medicated.
Do you provide bedding and toys?
Yes, bedding is provided during the stay. Playtime toys are also available. If you would like to bring your own, they must be labeled.
Is the kennel heated and air conditioned?
Yes, we have radiant floor heating and air conditioning. Your pet will be comfortable throughout the year.
How many times do the dogs go out each day?
The dogs go out four times per day, two of which are playtimes.
I have two or more dogs. Can they stay together?
Yes, our facility has several sizes of dog suites, including a suite with a connecting door for larger families.
Can I bring bedding, toys and treats for my pet?
Yes, you can bring labeled bedding, toys and treats. However, we do provide these items during your pet's stay. Rawhides will not be accepted. Please do not bring valuable or irreplaceable items as they may become soiled or separated from your pet during the stay.
Do I need to bring my pet's own food?
While we provide Iams food, you are more than welcome to supply dog food from home in a labeled container or pre-portioned bags. We supply freezing, refrigeration, and heating as needed. Please inform our staff of any dietary restrictions or food sensitivities that your dog may have.
Do you administer medications?
Yes, we will administer medications. All medications must be clearly labeled. We do not give shots. If your dog has a serious illness or injury, we recommend contacting your veterinarian for alternative boarding arrangements.
Can I pick up my dog after business hours?
Appointments may be scheduled outside of our regular office hours for a $15 fee per dog. Based on availability.
What if there is an emergency medical problem?
If there is an illness, we will contact you and your veterinarian. If your veterinarian is in the area, we will try to use them. If we are unable to reach you in an emergency, we will seek care that is in the best interest of your pet. Pet owners are responsible for any veterinary costs if medical attention is required.
If a dog needs to be taken to the vet there will now be a $25 transport fee.
Is there a chance my pet may come home with fleas?
If fleas and ticks are present, the dog will be treated at the owner's expense before entering the kennel. Since we are located in a rural area, we encourage the use of flea/tick preventative.
